Dreams can become your reality

There will come a day when your innermost dreams can become your reality. What are you choosing to imagine right now?
There will come a day when your habits will be so firmly ingrained that they’ll carry you along without you even thinking about them. What kinds of habits are you working to develop?
There will come a day when you’ll suddenly encounter a magnificent and wonderful opportunity that’s just perfect for you. What are you doing today that will prepare you to make the most of that opportunity?
There will come a day when all the artificial concerns fall away. What are you doing in this moment to give real meaning and purpose and substance in your life?
The things you do today affect not only today. (Repeat) They build you and prepare you and position you for all the days that will come.
So I ask again what are you doing today that will prepare you to make the most of your life, what kind of habits are you working to develop?
In anything we do we get better at it with practice, if you are standing still, standing in the same place today as you were a year or 2 years ago, Are you taking advantage of your opportunities to practice in life? Are you evaluating your wants and desires and moving towards action?
That makes this very day your most important opportunity. For the person you choose to be today is the person who will carry you forward toward all those days that will surely come. Don’t let yourself down; don’t let thoughts of failure or fears get in your way of being who you truly want to be. Do you know who that is?
If not I encourage you to think about it, think about how others view you and how you view yourself, is that really who you want to be in 5 years? If not start building those habits those characteristics today so that you can become the person you want to be.

And be relentless…..That is it, I am done

Let me upgrade you

Are you stuck in a rut and want to take yourself to the next level? Do you feel like you are ALMOST where you want to be but need that final piece? Maybe you just realize that it’s time to upgrade your life a little bit!

Beyonce & Jay-Z said in a song that they could upgrade each other. He was a millionaire rapper, and she was a millionaire singer but together, they have UPGRADED each other to BILLIONAIRE status. How did they do that? They both HUMBLED themselves into realizing that they were good without each other but could be great TOGETHER!

In order to make it to the next level, you are going to have to STEP your game up! You can’t keep expecting to do new things, running the same OLD way. They say insanity is doing the same things, expecting different results.

Let me PAINT a PICTURE…

What type of cell phone do you have? Chances are that you have an android, smart phone, IPHONE, etc. Now here this; I am betting that 80% of the population will have upgraded their phones since the “touch screens” have come out but are still operating the way they did when the Razors were out (2000) LOL! You got an IPHONE 5 but living the same way, you did when they had the RAZORS out?? That is the problem with most of US! I say us becasue I am guilty of this to, and I have to CHECK MYSELF! If I want to upgrade my life, I have to UPGRADE my life!

When you grab that new cell phone, what do you do with the old one? It doesn’t exist huh? Same rules applies if you are trying to upgrade your life. I am right now, the HEAVIEST I have ever been. I eat real good, I stopped smoking and I have an office at my day job. Point I am proving is, the OLD me was in shape but was a chain smoker, operatiing like a RAZOR PHONE. The new me is the IPHONE 4. I am not IPHONE 5S status yet (I need a gym membership for that) but I am definitely not the OLD ERIC!

Whenever you have that loser state of mind, you need to make a bold move!

Burning Desire

I have been through so much lately it isn’t even funny but it is all making sense now. You all will see when you are meant for something, NO MATTER how much you try to avoid it, it will put you in the path of what you are supposed to do. I want to tell a story that will help set up my point.

I remember that when me and my best friend Jeron would spend HOURS playing basketball every summer. It didn’t matter how hot it was, if it was raining, or even if it was cold, we were going to find away to play basketball. When you are young, you are very stubborn like that! Lol. We would practice and practice, just us. We were good, we played more than anyone else in the neighborhood but we weren’t as GOOD. I mean we would play, 5-7 hours a day, but yet sat the bench for our high school team. Some would ask, why would you invest that much time into a sport you weren’t great at?

See, we all in life have different talents. See, the kids that were REALLY good didn’t have to invest that much time into what they were good at because it came easy to them. Jeron and I had to work our tails off just to be AVERAGE because we were below average players. Have you ever been so talented at something that you didn’t invest alot of time in but you were better or as good as someone that did all the EXTRA stuff, extra time in, etc?

The world way back then was trying to send me a sign that basketball wasn’t my CALLING! As much time as I was investing, it wasn’t paying off because I liked playing basketball but my TRUE PASSION was never basketball. See, I wanted to play and make the team, but it wasn’t my BURNING DESIRE TO BE GREAT AT BASKETBALL. Let me ask a question, what is your burning desire? Your BURNING DESIRE or YOUR BLISS is natural and so easy to you. It’s like how Michael Jordan was with a basketball in his hands. Tiger Woods with a golf club!

Think about this: What makes you feel like KING or QUEEN of the world?

I remember when I figured out mine, it was a YEAR AGO TODAY! I had the pleasure to go the Steve Harvey Show, and I felt totally comfortable. What nobody got to see is I was actually on the stage and helped warm up the show. Let’s just say, that’s when I KNEW what I am supposed to do. What my burning desire is!

The world puts us on a platform to accomplish whatever our burning desire is but it means nothing if we don’t recognize it.
